Who we are
M.W.A Corporation LTD, 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom, is the controller of the personal data collected on the MyStoria store. Contact for any privacy question: jewerlyhistoria@gmail.com.
Data we collect
Identity and contact details (name, email, phone, delivery and billing address); order details (products, engraving text, card message, amounts); payment information, which is processed directly by our payment providers (we never store full card numbers); messages you send us; and browsing data (device, pages viewed, cookies) as described below. Engraving texts and card messages may refer to personal circumstances such as a bereavement or an illness: we use them only to prepare your order.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
To process and deliver your order and handle returns (performance of the contract); to keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation); to prevent fraud and improve our store (legitimate interest); to send you newsletters and to measure and personalise our advertising, for example via Meta (Facebook and Instagram) (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Who receives it
Only service providers who need it: Shopify (store hosting and checkout), payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal and Klarna), our engraving and fulfilment partner, delivery companies, our email service, and advertising platforms such as Meta if you have consented. We never sell your data.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Such transfers are protected by adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order data is kept for as long as required by accounting and tax law (generally 6 to 10 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for up to 3 years.
Cookies
We use necessary cookies to run the store and the cart. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies. You can accept or refuse them in the cookie banner and change your choice at any time.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email jewerlyhistoria@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority: the ICO (United Kingdom), IMY (Sweden), Datatilsynet (Denmark), Datatilsynet (Norway), the Data Protection Ombudsman (Finland), or the authority of your country.
